As a Manager-DevOps at BOLD, you will lead a team of Cloud Infrastructure engineers to design and implement robust solutions supporting infrastructure/platform as a service on Azure and AWS cloud platforms. Your role involves understanding stakeholder needs, guiding teams with industry best practices like fault tolerance and observability, and conducting necessary POCs for new requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive action and experimentation with a focus on automation across operations.
- Lead the design and maintenance of cloud infrastructure supporting development and production environments.
- Ensure engineering designs meet diverse cloud platform requirements through rigorous design evaluations.
- Collaborate across teams to guarantee reliable cloud services, ensuring 24/7 access to critical applications.
- Manage server and platform issues efficiently, optimizing performance and resource usage.
- Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance using tools like NewRelic, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Lead, recruit, and mentor a high-performing cloud infrastructure team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps tools and automation.
- Extensive experience in Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD for cloud automation.
- Expertise in Kubernetes administration and management.
- Hands-on experience with CDN management (Cloudflare, Akamai) and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Strong knowledge of cloud monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus) and log management (EFK stack).
- Experience in infrastructure sizing, cost reduction strategies, and Disaster Recovery planning.
- Agile methodology experience and ability to lead agile teams effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with OAuth, OIDC for authentication and authorization.
- Knowledge of compliance and security standards.
- Coding proficiency in GoLang and Python.
Experience. 10+ years in roles such as Manager, DevOps or Principal Engineer II, DevOps.
