Location: Alpharetta, GA Area code: 404 Tax term: CON_CORP CON_IND CON_W2 Pay rate: Open Length: 6 + Months Position ID: BB07047 Job description: This individual will be architecting, developing, enhancing and fixing IT Internal tools reports. This position will have responsibility for development, unit testing, deployment and support of reports for our client. Examples are; Resource Module, Project Module, Request, Standards Module, Application Portfolio, Executive Dashboards and Reporting. The candidate will also support other Production Support roles as assigned by Management. This is a highly technical role requiring critical thinking, logic, organization, self-motivation and attention to detail from analysis through implementation and post-production. During the project work cycle, you will interface with the technical teams, business teams, functional analyst, testing teams and others. Therefore, the ability to communicate with a variety of end-users, and perform well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment is critical to success in this position. The person in this position must have: Core Skills -Development Experience with SQL ** 5 years -Development Experience with Microsoft SQL Reporting Server ** 3 years -Experience building Microsoft SQL Reports - 3 years -Experience creating graphs with Microsoft SQL Reporting Server ** 3 years -Must have 5+ years experience with all MS Office tools (including but not limited to) Excel, Outlook, -Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Word. -Ability to effectively analyze systems to produce quality derived requirements -Ability to produce effective Technical documents. -Ability to multi-task on several complex issues -Ability to recognize inter-dependencies of issues and projects and work through -High-speed learner -Excellent written and oral communication skills -The ability to work under continual deadline constraints is necessary. Drive to achieve results and strong analytical abilities are required. Desirable -Understanding of project, resource, and application, standards, schedule and request management Methodologies in a large IT environment. -Knowledge Financial and IT Governance systems. -Knowledge of SDLC processes, especially in the area of creating and interpreting business & system requirements, process/workflows, & end-user support documentation. -Knowledge of ERWin, Rational Rose or comparable tool for ER diagrams is a plus
