Job Description

As a Network Administrator (Data Center), you will be responsible for the implementation, management, and maintenance of network infrastructure within the data center environment. You will ensure the smooth operation of network systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures to safeguard data and ensure network reliability.

Minimum Qualification

  • 15 years of full-time education
  • Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Implementing and configuring QOS / Traffic shaping on various SD-WAN/Routers and firewalls.
  • Creation/deployment and configuration of MPLS/VPN (Mash/Site to Site) on SD WAN and Cisco networks.
  • Firewall management and addressing access-related issues such as ACL, NAT, and VPN.
  • Managing Proxy servers like Zscaler or Forcepoint.
  • Router and Switch management and upgrading.
  • Working knowledge of the Cisco Nexus Switch family.
  • Troubleshooting NAC-related issues.
  • Wireless LAN controller management and troubleshooting wireless network connectivity.
  • Configuring redundant networks using protocols HSRP, BGP, and static routing.
  • Implementing site-to-site VPN with different vendors and updating details as per requirements.
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments and bridging gaps in coordination with domain experts.
  • Hands-on experience with network security devices like Cisco/Checkpoint/Juniper firewall, IPS/IDS, VPN (both client-to-site and site-to-site), Internet gateway, etc.
  • Proficiency with Cisco 6500/4500/3750 series switches.
  • Understanding of switching concepts VLAN/VTP/STP/QoS/Ether-channel/redundancy protocols.
  • Experience with Load balancers.
  • Knowledge of Routing protocols, mainly OSPF & BGP.
  • Understanding of Wireless LAN, WLC & ACS, Remote access VPN, and VOIP.
  • Thorough knowledge of Cisco switching and routing and MPLS technology.
  • Working knowledge of SD-WAN technology.
  • Capability of managing network-related projects.
  • Ability to identify and isolate network faults and liaise with respective OEMs.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
