Join a dynamic team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco's expanding network infrastructure. This role is crucial in developing scalable, highly available network architectures aligned with business objectives and SLAs.
Responsibilities
- ACI Network Fabric Development. Contribute to building a new Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) network fabric using SONiC OS.
- Cisco 8K Series Routers. Design, configure, and deploy Cisco 8K Series Routers (8100, 8200, 8600, 8800).
- System Integration and Automation. Research, evaluate, and implement system solutions, applying engineering principles to enhance operational efficiency.
- Tier III Technical Support. Provide advanced technical support for ACI technologies in a Data Center environment.
- Operational Automation. Automate daily operational tasks supporting Data Center ACI to ensure seamless functionality.
- Industry Knowledge. Maintain expertise in IT engineering technologies, trends, and competition within the Data Center industry.
Qualifications
- Experience. Minimum 8 years in network engineering roles.
- Technical Expertise
- Configuration of Nexus switches and implementation of ACI solutions.
- Troubleshooting and automation skills related to ACI technologies.
- Proficiency with Cisco 8K Series Routers and network routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS).
- Data Center Knowledge. Solid understanding of Data Center products, protocols, and industry standards.
- Education. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Communication Skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organizational Skills. Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SONiC OS or other open-source network operating systems.
- Familiarity with Switch Abstraction Interface (SAI).
- Cisco certifications (CCNP or CCIE).
