Title: Skills: Location: Area code: Tax term: Pay rate: Length: Position ID: Job description: Our client is looking for an experienced Oracle Database Developer: Job Requirements : *Minimum 8 years Oracle experience *Be available to perform the role of Oracle Database Developer. *Work with the Business Analysis & Web Development teams to understand requirements. *Design of Database Schema and Objects for existing and new applications. *Database Development for existing and new applications. *Provide troubleshooting support to Support and Operations teams. *Triage technical issues with the databases and conduct root cause analysis. *Investigate the source of data errors & technical issues. *Help stabilize, optimize, tune and improve database systems. *Be responsible and accountable for supporting and enhancing the design, tables, load scripts, and other functionality of the Oracle databases used for the project *Provide assistance and support for all stated services and deliverables. *Follow all Client standard operating procedures. *Represent department with excellence in all interactions with users. *Transfer of knowledge to Client staff members. *Understanding and experience with wireless network architecture and elements preferred. Required Skills: - 8+ years Oracle experience - Skills and experience in a very-large-database environment - UNIX, Solaris - Oracle 9i, 10g - PL/SQL and SQL - Normalized databases and efficient joins across several tables - Oracle-to-Oracle data loading using Korn shell scripts and PL/SQL - Creating/managing partitioned tables - User facing skills - Statistical skills would be a plus - Requirements gathering experience would be a plus
