Performance Engineer III

If you've got the right stuff, you'll join a creative and dynamic team working to develop automation for load, performance and regression testing the next generation of Blackbaud's signature web solutions. These solutions help nonprofit organizations maximize fundraising and manage their day-to-day operations. As a Performance Engineer III you will: · Design performance testing approaches/strategies and plans for enterprise-wide projects. · Develop performance tools to profile hardware utilization at all levels. · Anticipate performance, scalability and reliability requirements to provide insight into performance bottlenecks. · Participate in reviews of user interface, business specifications, infrastructure changes and related documentation to assess the impact on performance and scalability. · Execute load, stress, capacity and endurance tests, including setting up and maintaining the tracking of performance data for analysis and reporting of how the systems are performing · Create clear reports that show performance characteristics · Responsible for infrastructure and application performance monitoring analysis; and system capacity analysis on multiple platforms · Design, develop, and implement comprehensive stress tests of systems running on various hardware and software platforms · Work with development/design to create a capacity planning model to realistically predict the load impact · Recommend and apply process and architectural improvements to continually improve performance and stability of systems · Create white papers detailing system performance Required Skills: Experience with SQL Server Administration and Tuning Deep Hardware/OS Knowledge Network Administration .Net Programming ASP.Net Programming Microsoft Visual Studio Team Test · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work effectively with a broad range of technical resources · Experience scripting web applications · Mentoring junior staff
