As a Principal Consultant in Java + Automation Tool, you will play a pivotal role in coding, testing, and delivering high-quality solutions while being open to learning new technologies. Your responsibilities will include database testing, debugging issues, collaborating across scrum teams, staying updated on automation testing best practices, and driving automation initiatives to enhance quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct database testing using SQL, preferably using SQL Server Management Studio for MSSQL server.
• Demonstrate a problem-solving mindset and provide solutions to testing issues with a focus on quality.
• Foster collaboration across scrum teams and cross-functional teams.
• Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, tools, and techniques in automation testing.
• Develop and execute automation testing strategies and frameworks.
• Lead automation initiatives to minimize functional defects and identify performance issues early in the development cycle.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B Tech) or MCA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Proficiency in Java, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Strong experience in developing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.
• Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket, Maven, and related tools.
• Exposure to Continuous Integration tools using DevOps.
• Good understanding of Agile Delivery Methodology and experience working with Scrum teams.
