Job Description

As a Principal Consultant, you will develop bespoke applications in the banking domain, interface with clients to elicit technical requirements, and design and develop technical components. This role is ideal for those passionate about building impactful solutions for enterprises and the community.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and review artifacts (Code, Documentation, Unit test scripts) and conduct reviews for self and peers.
  • Conduct unit tests and document results for complex programs to build applications ready for validation/delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop web pages using HTML/HTML5, XML, CSS/CSS3, SASS, LESS, JavaScript, React JS, Redux, Angular JS, JQuery, JSON, Node.js, Ajax, Bootstrap.
  • Implement single-page applications (SPAs) and customize CSS frameworks.
  • Utilize React JS framework to develop SPAs and work with React Flux and Redux architecture.
  • Develop applications using Java, Spring, REST, SOAP, Hibernate, and other J2EE technologies.
  • Write SQL, PL/SQL, and manage databases like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MS-SQL Server.
  • Interact with APIs and RESTful Web Services using AJAX and JSON.
  • Utilize cloud technologies including AWS, Microsoft Azure Blob, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
  • Integrate front-end development with back-end systems.
  • Use testing frameworks and tools like Unit.js, Jasmine, Karma, Mocha, and bug tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education will be considered.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a React JS Developer and 3 years as a UI/UX Developer/API developer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Web Technologies: HTML, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, XHTML, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, WordPress, JSON, Twitter Bootstrap, React JS, Angular JS, Express JS, Node.js, GitHub, JAVA, J2EE.
  • Experience with development tools: Eclipse, Web Matrix, Web Storm, Sublime, Dreamweaver, Notepad++.
  • Expertise in debugging tools: Firebug, Bugzilla, Chrome Developer Tools, IntelliJ.
  • Knowledge of frameworks: React JS, Angular JS, Node JS.
  • Familiarity with servers: IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, BEA WebLogic, JBoss, HTTP Web Server.
  • Experience with various platforms and methodologies: Windows, Sun Solaris, IBM-AIX, Linux, Agile, Rational Unified Process (RUP), UML Waterfall.
  • Database management: MONGO DB, PostgreSQL, Spunk data storage (Big data), Oracle, SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in front-end tools: CorelDraw, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Experience with testing tools and logging frameworks: Junit, Load runner, Jasmine, Selenium, T-probe, Easy Mock.
  • Programming Languages: C, C++, JAVA, MySQL, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, Web Services.
