About The Role
As a member of our centralized team, you will handle critical operational tasks such as Operating System Vulnerability Patching and Software/Configuration Upgrades. You'll collaborate closely with other SRE teams to ensure our systems remain secure and up-to-date. This role requires adherence to SOPs and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deploying Operating System Vulnerability fixes.
- Implementing configuration and monitoring changes on production systems.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Proficiency in Linux command-line tools and server management in production environments.
- Familiarity with software installation, configuration management (e.g., Saltstack), and network protocols.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Linux Package Management Tools (APT/YUM), SystemD, and Linux log files.
- Troubleshooting skills for basic Linux system issues.
