Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Consultant to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting our Sony Central Finance system. As an SAP Basis Consultant, you will be responsible for providing solutions to complex technical issues, guiding the team, and suggesting improvements and automation to optimize our SAP environment.

Experience. 4+ Years

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Issue Resolution. Address and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP Basis, ensuring the stability and performance of SAP systems.
  2. Team Guidance. Lead and mentor the team on best practices and effective solutions for SAP Basis and related technologies.
  3. Process Improvement. Propose and implement ideas for system improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our SAP infrastructure.
  4. Support and Optimization. Ensure optimal performance of the Sony Central Finance system, focusing on S/4HANA, HANA DB, and associated SAP modules.

Primary Skills

  1. S/4HANA. Expertise in S/4HANA implementations and administration.
  2. HANA DB. In-depth knowledge of HANA Database management.
  3. SAP PO. Proficiency in SAP Process Orchestration.
  4. SAP SLT. Experience with SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT).
  5. BW/4HANA. Expertise in SAP BW/4HANA.
  6. ZDO Upgrade Approach. Understanding of Zero Downtime Upgrades.
  7. Basis Activities Automation. Experience in automating SAP Basis activities.
  8. Solution Manager. Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for monitoring and management.
  9. Single Sign-On (SSO). Knowledge of Single Sign-On configurations.
  10. DB2 Database. Experience with DB2 database administration.

Good to Have Skills

  1. OpenText/IC4S/ICC/VIM. Knowledge of OpenText and related components.
  2. EP Portal. Experience with SAP Enterprise Portal.
  3. Innowera. Familiarity with Innowera tools.
  4. SAP GRC. Understanding of SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
  5. Network Connectivity. Knowledge of network connectivity and traffic flow.
  6. AWS Knowledge. AWS Solution Architect certification or knowledge of AWS Cloud hosting.
