Key Responsibilities

Hands-On Expertise. Demonstrated proficiency with Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for O365 is essential. You will be responsible for comprehending security events and incidents within Azure Sentinel and MS Defender, ensuring timely responses and appropriate actions.

Threat Detection and Mitigation. Utilize your expertise to identify potential threats and enhance existing cyber security measures in alignment with policy guidelines. Your role will involve proactive threat analysis, incident triage, and investigation to ensure a robust security posture.

SOC Operations. Experience in 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) operations is crucial. You will handle security alerts, provide Tier 2 support, and contribute to maintaining a vigilant security environment.

Cybersecurity Understanding. Possess a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), phishing analysis, and other relevant domains.

Reporting and Documentation. Prepare comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documents and deliver regular reports to stakeholders. Additionally, contribute to the refinement of playbooks and use cases to optimize security operations.

Threat Analysis and Remediation. Support cyber threat analysis efforts, recommend appropriate remediation strategies, and contribute to proactive mitigation measures.
Requirements
- Experience. 4 to 9 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity roles, with hands-on experience in Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for O365.
- Certifications. Preferred certifications include AZ-900 and SC-200 / AZ-500, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Azure.
- Communication Skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for effective collaboration and reporting.
