Luxoft is seeking a highly skilled Senior BigData Developer to join our dynamic team in Pune. You will be instrumental in the development of an advanced liquidity risk and collateral management platform for one of the largest investment banks globally. This platform is essential for monitoring liquidity risks and optimizing collateral management processes, helping to mitigate operational risks and enhance efficiency in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Development. Design and implement new functionalities for the Liquidity Risk platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Big Data Solutions. Utilize technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, and Hive to process and analyze large data sets, providing insights that drive decision-making.
- Data Reporting and Analysis. Develop reporting frameworks and perform data analysis to support liquidity management, improving transparency and operational effectiveness.
- Collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional teams globally, including product management, data engineering, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Full SDLC Engagement. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Performance Optimization. Identify and implement performance tuning measures to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Technical Mentorship. Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
Required Skills
- Experience. 6+ years of hands-on experience in Big Data technologies and solutions.
- Programming Skills. Proficient in Java and Python (J2EE) for building scalable applications.
- Big Data Technologies. Strong expertise in Apache Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala, Yarn, and Talend.
- Database Management. Experience with SQL databases and UNIX Shell scripting for data manipulation and analysis.
- Data Analysis. Proven ability to conduct big data reporting and perform complex data analysis.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of Spark Calculators and business logic implementation.
- Basic performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with data flow automation tools such as Apache NiFi or Airflow.
- Understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Experience with version control systems (GIT) and deployment tools (uDeploy).
- Knowledge of OOP and functional design approaches, as well as event-driven architecture.
