EPAM Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this remote role, you will be pivotal in setting up and managing Azure cloud environments, collaborating with teams to support cloud configurations, and contributing to .NET development tasks. Your expertise in cloud technologies and .NET development will help us deliver cutting-edge solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Azure Cloud Configuration. Set up and configure Azure cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Cloud Management. Manage and configure Azure Kubernetes clusters, Azure API Management, and Azure Cloud architecture, including routing, ACL, subscriptions, and Azure Blob storage.
- Infrastructure Development. Develop infrastructure management scripts using Terraform and Helm to automate deployments and manage cloud resources.
- Performance Optimization. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Azure Cloud environments to maintain high efficiency and reliability.
- Collaboration. Work closely with diverse stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and provide regular updates and progress reports.
- Security and Compliance. Ensure that all Azure Cloud environments adhere to security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Development Support. Assist with .NET development tasks as needed, leveraging your proficiency in C# and .NET.
Requirements
- Experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in Azure development or a related field.
- Technical Skills. Expertise in Azure Containers, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure API Management, Terraform, Helm, and Docker.
- Cloud Architecture. Ability to configure and manage Azure Cloud architecture, including routing, ACL, subscriptions, Azure Blob storage, API Management, and proxies.
- Scripting. Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure management and PowerShell for scripting.
- Development Skills. Strong proficiency in C# and .NET 5 (including .NET Core), with experience in Linux containers using Docker.
- DevOps. Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), including releases, pipelines, agent pools, and YAML templates.
- Communication. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills with a strong command of English for effective global interaction.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in additional scripting languages like Python.
- Experience with .NET Core MVC and WebAPI frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
