We are seeking an experienced Compliance Senior Manager who possesses a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks governing Banks, Non-Bank Financial Sectors, Insurance, and corporate governance best practices. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of PhonePe's regulatory compliance practices, including program management, risk assessment, licensing, training, and policy implementation. Reporting to the Director of Compliance, you will collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to develop and implement robust compliance policies and procedures.
Responsibilities

Regulatory Implementations Charter
- Develop project plans to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with Legal, Business, and Product teams to discuss and implement regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular updates on progress and collect evidence for audit purposes.
- Stay informed about regulatory developments and integrate best practices into compliance standards.

Policies and Procedure Governance
- Review and update policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop product-specific policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely implementation and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain documentation for audit purposes.

Regulatory and Compliance Audits
- Serve as the Nodal Officer for communications with regulators.
- Track and monitor non-IT regulatory requirements.
- Plan and oversee all non-IT audits, acting as the point of contact for escalations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address audit findings and implement controls.

Periodic Risk Assessments
- Lead risk assessment initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Analyze current control measures and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare risk assessment reports and circulate them for approval.

Team Building and Management Reporting
- Manage a team of compliance professionals, fostering growth and performance.
- Maintain reports and KPIs to monitor team performance and process health.
- Facilitate learning and skill development programs for team members.
- Participate in hiring processes to ensure the right talent acquisition.
Basic and Advanced Qualifications
- Post Graduate in Finance and Risk Management / MBA / CA / CS with 6+ years of experience in Financial Service Compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of banking, payment, insurance, and fintech regulations in India.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and high ethical standards.
- Certification in compliance is a plus, along with advanced Excel skills.
