We are seeking a skilled SQL and Power BI Report Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases and Power BI reports to support business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data analysis, data visualization, and database management.
Key Responsibilities
SQL Development
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis.
- Develop and maintain database structures, schemas, tables, views, and indexes.
- Create and manage stored procedures, functions, triggers, and scripts for automation.
- Ensure high code quality and maintainability through proper documentation and adherence to best practices.
- Design, develop, and support SQL databases to meet business requirements.
Power BI Reporting
- Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into technical specifications.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to databases and reporting.
- Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in SQL development and Power BI.
- Document processes and workflows related to database and report development.
Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SQL Developer and Power BI Developer.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with complex queries.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard and report creation.
- Knowledge of database design, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL database development.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Power BI Desktop, Power Automate, or Power Apps.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
- Relevant certifications in SQL or Power BI.
