We are seeking a Technical Authority Expert to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team, specializing in the TXN (Transmission) domain. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert support in service assurance, focusing on transmission technologies and vendor management.
What You Will Do
- Provide support in Transmission Assurance, including monitoring, correlation, and basic troubleshooting.
- Apply ITIL principles and practices in incident, problem, change, and service introduction management.
- Support vendor and product selection tasks for transmission technologies, including defining requirements.
- Manage and optimize network transmission capacity.
- Handle emergencies and on-call support on a 24X7 basis.
- Develop and manage customized business object templates and reports.
- Utilize database and spreadsheet applications for data manipulation and reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements and changes with a customer-oriented approach.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team and be responsive to business and customer needs.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
You Will Bring
- Experience. 4 to 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in Transmission Assurance on the Ericsson TXN domain.
- Qualification. B.Tech in a relevant field.
Technical Skills
- Experience with OLT & DSLAM devices.
- Proficiency in transmission technologies including PTN, CTR, RTC, ATR, AGR (Devices), SDH, and DWDM.
- Experience with vendors such as Huawei, Nokia, Cisco, and Ericsson.
Other Skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of support processes.
- Ability to work under time constraints and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in database and spreadsheet applications for data analysis and reporting.
