The development engineer will be part of a team working on developing the Illustrator product in our Creative Suite of products. They will be responsible for the development of new features and maintenance of existing features and involved in all phases of development, from early specs and definition to release. They are expected to be a hands-on problem solver and well-versed in analyzing, architecting, and implementing C/C++-based world-class high-quality software.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute extensively to analysis, design, and programming for major and dot software releases.
  • Collaborate with product marketing to evaluate and resolve new features to be added.
  • Be a proactive self-starter who can develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Requirements

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from a premier institute.
  • 10+ years of hands-on design/development experience.
  • Proficient in C/C++ assembly, data structure, and algorithm.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented design and knowledge of product life cycles and associated issues.
  • Knowledge of application development on multiple platforms including various flavors of Windows and Macintosh.
  • Excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of architecture, design, and performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with working in a fast-paced global environment.
