Are you an experienced QA Automation Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright along with Karate Labs or Rest Assured. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through robust automation frameworks and advanced testing methodologies.
This is a remote position, offering flexibility while allowing you to collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones. You will be working from 12 PM to 9 PM IST, ensuring smooth coordination with global teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright along with Karate Labs or Rest Assured.
- Design and execute test cases to ensure software quality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and improve test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects in a structured manner while ensuring timely resolution.
- Continuously enhance automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies to ensure testing is an integral part of the development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide valuable insights to the development teams.
- Stay updated with the latest automation trends and tools to improve testing strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong proficiency in Playwright for end-to-end testing of web applications.
- Experience with Karate Labs or Rest Assured for API testing and automation.
- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python for test script development.
- Experience working with version control systems like Git and test management tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug automation scripts effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote environment.
