About the Job

As a software engineer at Google, you'll tackle critical projects that drive our business forward. Your role will involve managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, while also designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions. You'll have the opportunity to work across the full-stack and collaborate with diverse teams, ensuring that Google continues to push the boundaries of technology.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, with a strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, along with 1 year of experience in software design and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Lead or participate in design reviews to select the best technologies for our projects.
• Review code from fellow developers and provide constructive feedback to uphold best practices.
• Contribute to documentation and educational content, adapting them based on user feedback and product updates.
• Triage and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and impact.
