Responsibilities
- Architect and scale distributed applications, making architectural trade-offs, applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, and delivering code with speed and quality.
- Develop high-volume, reliable, and user-centric applications that operate 24x7, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Produce high-quality, unit-tested software, code reviewed regularly, and integrated continuously for seamless delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity and champion best practices across the team.
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of programming experience in Java and/or C++.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant work experience, demonstrating expert knowledge in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design, coding, testing patterns, and programming languages (Java, C++).
- Strong coding skills in a high-level language, with a willingness to learn new languages as needed.
- Experience building web applications and services, using IDEs and following general development practices.
