We're seeking an exceptional Program Manager (PM) to spearhead our International region expansion, with a focus on Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This pivotal role demands a strategic vision to establish and execute growth objectives effectively. You'll engage with internal product teams, our Microsoft field, partners, and customers, tackling complex engagements across technical, financial, compliance, regulatory, and legal dimensions.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities to support our Azure Region build and launch lifecycle, including developing launch programs and processes and scaling out motions through automation.
- Understand customer scenarios and requirements to drive engineering actions and product improvements.
- To support their digital transformation, develop a deep understanding of lead customers, their key business priorities, and critical workloads.
- Engage directly with customers at various levels, supporting executive briefings and innovation partnerships.
- Remove barriers to cloud adoption across service, capacity, availability, and time dimensions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate customer demand signals into release priorities, ensuring unencumbered business growth.
- Monitor launch quality KPIs and drive mitigation strategies to ensure new regions launch with quality and within time-to-market SLAs.
Qualifications
Required
- Program, project, or product management experience in one category or vertical.
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong track record of delivering services and/or shipping products.
- Cloud/Infrastructure experience.
- Experience in cross-functional program management, especially in a strategy, planning, and decision-making environment.
Preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Hyperscale Clouds data center and network architecture.
- Experience in planning cloud-specific infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing a business-critical function.
- Ability to communicate and present complex analysis at executive levels for alignment and decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive projects and build buy-in and support.
