We are seeking a skilled Web Application Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the manual and automated testing of web-based software applications for Rosemount Level Measurement Products. Your responsibilities will include system integration testing, security testing, and the development of detailed test plans and scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and Analysis. Analyze requirements and technical design documents, providing constructive feedback.
- Test Development. Identify and develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Automation Framework. Design and develop automation frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium, Robot Framework, Protractor, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Testing Execution. Implement and execute both manual and automated test cases. Perform system integration and security testing.
- Defect Management. Identify, log, and track defects through their lifecycle, ensuring thorough resolution.
- Documentation. Prepare and maintain test documentation and quality metrics. Develop standard processes and guidelines for test documentation and defect logging.
- Collaboration. Work closely with developers, other testers, and product owners to ensure quality and resolve issues. Participate in code reviews and continuously improve testing processes.
- Non-Functional Testing. Develop and execute non-functional test cases, including performance and security testing.
- Continuous Improvement. Focus on improving quality-driven software techniques and processes. Adapt to flexible working hours as needed.
Who You Are
- Education. B.E/B. Tech or M. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics.
- Experience. Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in web application testing and automation.
- Skills. Strong experience with automation scripting tools (Selenium, Robot Framework, etc.), performance testing (JMeter), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure). Proficiency in Java or Python is preferred.
- Additional Knowledge. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, API testing (POSTMAN, REST Assured), and static/dynamic code analysis tools. Knowledge of communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus) and cybersecurity tools (CIS-CAT Pro) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cyber Security SDLC (Secure Coding).
- Familiarity with Scrum methodology.
