We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect to join our team. This role is crucial for designing and implementing the technical framework of our ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will focus on establishing technical governance practices, ensuring alignment with best practices, organizational standards, and industry regulations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, business units, and external partners, to drive platform enhancements and maintain its overall health.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Governance
- Develop and implement a robust technical governance framework for the ServiceNow platform.
- Establish and enforce architectural guidelines, design principles, and coding standards.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of platform configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Support the creation and maintenance of a ServiceNow Center of Excellence (CoE).
Platform Design and Architecture
- Lead the design and architecture of the ServiceNow platform to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Define and document platform architecture, including data models, integration strategies, and application design.
- Guide platform enhancements, upgrades, and new features in alignment with organizational goals and technical standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with platform owners, product owners, and internal customers to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Partner with the platform owner to maintain the product roadmap, providing input on scope, timeline, and value.
- Collaborate with the enterprise architecture team to ensure designs align with IT standards and goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow, offering advice and guidance on best practices and platform capabilities.
Technical Leadership
- Provide feedback and mentorship to ServiceNow developers, administrators, and consultants.
- Stay updated on ServiceNow product updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies, evaluating their impact on the platform.
- Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of new techniques.
Risk Management and Platform Security
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, including security vulnerabilities and performance issues.
- Ensure that enhancements and configuration changes align with security best practices and minimize technical debt.
- Support teams in resolving complex technical issues.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, governance frameworks, and platform configurations.
- Prepare and present reports on platform performance, governance compliance, and the value of enhancement initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Educational Background. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience. Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect or in a similar role with a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and best practices.
- Skills. Extensive experience in implementing and governing ServiceNow solutions, with a focus on ITSM and ITOM. In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, integration methodologies, and data modeling.
- Certifications. ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect certification is highly desirable. ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications in ITSM & ITOM modules are acceptable with demonstrated experience in a platform architect role.
- Attributes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
