We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Service Portal Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow Service Portal solutions that align with business objectives and user needs. This role requires deep technical expertise in ServiceNow, particularly in the Service Portal and ITSM modules, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Portal Development. Design, develop, and maintain custom Service Portals on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
- Custom Applications. Develop custom applications and integrations within the ServiceNow environment tailored to specific business requirements.
- Scripting. Write, test, and debug complex JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS code to enhance Service Portal functionality and user interface.
- Configuration Management. Configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts to automate processes and enhance ServiceNow capabilities.
- Requirements Gathering. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and effective solutions.
- Technical Leadership. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshooting. Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs within the ServiceNow platform to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Documentation. Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes, configurations, and customizations for future reference and compliance.
- Performance Optimization. Optimize performance and scalability of ServiceNow applications and portals to meet evolving business needs.
- Security Compliance. Ensure all ServiceNow solutions comply with security policies and best practices, safeguarding sensitive business data.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including data models, relationships, and security mechanisms.
- Experience with ServiceNow APIs and integrating with third-party systems.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist are preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Soft Skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Other. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
