The Global Store Expansions team at Amazon is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to contribute to our Global Store technology stacks. In this role, you will be instrumental in launching new Global Store arcs with local language, currency, and payment options, while also working on building new features and enhancements. This is a key initiative within Amazon, and you will play a pivotal role in designing innovative technology solutions, reducing time to market, standardizing execution, and enabling global expansion.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect innovative technology solutions for Global Store expansions.
- Reduce time to market, standardize execution, and scale for expansion globally.
- Build, operate, and contribute to the evolution of the platform to solve complex technical challenges in areas such as information extraction, large-scale computing, distributed systems, web applications, data mining, scalability, security, and algorithms.
- Strive for simplicity, demonstrate creativity, and exercise high judgment in problem-solving.
- Stabilize day-to-day operations and improve the platform's build and testing processes.
- Ensure adherence to organizational software and security compliance.
Day-to-Day Expectations
- Solve complex problems through data rapidly.
