As a Software Development Engineer focusing on Security Engineering, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to securing Adobe’s infrastructure and services. Your role will involve driving enterprise security projects, developing secure identity solutions, and collaborating across various teams to ensure the integrity and security of our systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development & API Utilization. Develop and integrate secure end-user security technologies and solutions.
- Collaboration. Work with different teams to gather security requirements, understand workflows, and devise secure solutions.
- Tool Integration. Integrate identity tools with various backends, including directories and cloud environments.
- Secure Engineering. Engineer secure identity solutions in containerized and cloud environments.
- Support & Troubleshooting. Handle incoming security requests, respond to issues, and develop effective solutions.
- Documentation. Detail use cases, requirements, test cases, and workflow diagrams in a technical environment.
Requirements
- Educational Background. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or 6-8 years of IT Security experience.
Technical Skills
- Strong automation and testing skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows, Mac UNIX/Linux systems.
- Experience with machine-to-machine connections using MFA, certificates, and tokens.
- Understanding of identity lifecycle, least privileged, and zero trust principles.
- Knowledge of Privileged Identity and Access Management principles.
- Experience in DevSecOps principles and supporting containerized systems.
- Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure), and management technologies (Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Git).
Communication & Leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead projects and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac).
- Experience with Encryption Key Lifecycle Management.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Node, Go, Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with dashboarding and log correlation tools (Grafana, Telegraph, Splunk).
