Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Software Engineer to join our Adobe Acrobat for Android team within Adobe Document Cloud. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of document management and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include leading our testing and automation strategy for cutting-edge features, collaborating closely with developers to ensure robust automation APIs and tests, and enhancing our code coverage through meticulous test planning and execution.

What You'll Do

  • Lead testing and automation efforts for upcoming features, collaborating closely with developers.
  • Craft robust automation APIs and tests to ensure seamless automation environments.
  • Enhance existing automated tests to elevate code coverage and ensure high-quality releases.
  • Dive into test planning and execution, ensuring thorough coverage and high-quality releases.
  • Partner with the release engineering team to optimize release processes.
  • Participate in exciting testing activities like bug hunts and user testing.

What You Need To Succeed

  • B.E/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GIT, Android Studio, etc.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Android development.
  • Experience with Android automation frameworks like Espresso, UI Automator, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for building high-quality software products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good knowledge of test methodologies like functional, black box, grey box, integration, performance testing, etc.
  • Experience in designing and creating test scripts, test cases, and test data for manual and automated testing of Android applications.
  • Ability to write test plans for end-to-end workflows for Android applications.
