Job Description

As a software engineer, you'll work on critical projects that address Google's evolving needs, with opportunities to explore different teams and projects as our business grows.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience with front-end frameworks, full-stack development, or API development.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Write code for product or system development.
  • Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select appropriate technologies.
  • Review code from other developers and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Contribute to documentation and educational content, adapting it based on product updates and user feedback.
  • Troubleshoot product or system issues, analyzing sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
