As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to building and scaling distributed applications that provide reliable and user-centric services. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, focusing on high-quality software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development. Scale and enhance distributed applications, applying both synchronous and asynchronous design patterns.
- Software Quality. Develop multi-tier, high-performance applications that operate continuously, ensuring reliability and speed.
- Continuous Integration. Produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and regularly checked in for seamless integration.
- Productivity Improvement. Identify opportunities to enhance engineering productivity and effectively communicate these improvements to the team.
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of programming experience in Java and/or C++.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering.
- Strong understanding of computer science principles, particularly data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience with object-oriented design, coding, and testing methodologies.
- Proven ability to code in high-level languages, with an eagerness to learn new programming languages as needed.
- Experience in building web applications and services using modern IDEs and development practices.
