As a Software Engineer within the Provisioning team, you'll be instrumental in scaling distributed applications, designing robust architectures, and delivering high-quality code with speed and efficiency. You'll have the opportunity to work on user-centric applications that operate 24x7, contributing to the backbone of monetary transactions on LinkedIn.
Responsibilities
- Scale distributed applications and make architectural trade-offs using synchronous and asynchronous design patterns.
- Develop high-volume, reliable applications that operate continuously.
- Produce high-quality software through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
- Identify and evangelize opportunities to enhance engineering productivity.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of programming experience in Java and/or C++.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design, coding, testing patterns, and programming languages (Java, C++).
- Experience building web applications and services using IDEs and general development practices.
