As a Software Engineer at Amdocs, you will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, debugging, and maintaining software systems. You'll work within a team, following Amdocs software engineering standards and methodologies to ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and supportable. This includes investigating issues, providing fixes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you'll be expected to take technical accountability for your work products and provide support during solution design for new requirements. Innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency are encouraged in all tasks.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science from leading academic institutions
- 5+ years of experience in Java server-side development (Quarkus/Spring Boot/JEE)
- Experience in designing and developing complex high-performance distributed systems is advantageous
- Knowledge and experience in data structures, distributed computing, and inter-process communication
- Proficiency in relational databases and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes is advantageous
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Impala, and Spark is advantageous
- Readiness to learn new subjects and discover new areas
- Good interpersonal skills
