Job Description
- Position. Senior Technical Lead (Serverless Applications)
- Experience. 10-14 years
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership. Lead and mentor a team of 8 to 10 members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Architecture and Design. Design and architect serverless applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch. Implement best practices for scalability, security, and performance optimization.
- Development and Implementation. Hands-on development of serverless solutions using AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM). Drive the implementation of robust, maintainable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Issue Resolution and Optimization. Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, optimizing performance and efficiency of serverless applications. Implement monitoring and troubleshooting strategies to ensure system reliability.
- Stakeholder Management. Collaborate closely with stakeholders including product managers, architects, and business leaders to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and manage expectations effectively.
- Product Development. Drive product development initiatives from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Skills Required
- AWS Expertise. Extensive experience with AWS services relevant to serverless architecture, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Programming Languages. Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript for frontend and backend development.
- DevOps and CI/CD. Strong understanding of DevOps principles with experience in CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- API Design and Development. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and best practices for designing and building scalable APIs.
- Agile Methodologies. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a focus on iterative development and continuous delivery.
- Communication Skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-solving Skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading technical teams and delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in full lifecycle software development, from requirements analysis and design to testing and deployment.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a rapidly evolving industry.
