We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing monitoring tools and practices that offer comprehensive insights into the health and performance of our data infrastructure and analytics processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our data operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Deployment. Develop and implement advanced monitoring solutions to oversee the performance, reliability, and health of our data infrastructure.
- Automation. Explore and execute innovative automation strategies. Design, test, and refine automation processes to enhance operational efficiency, and identify and resolve quality issues. Support IT platform teams to address defects and errors in product and platform development.
- AIOps Integration. Leverage AIOps capabilities to enhance and optimize existing production operations, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within our ecosystem.
- Monitoring Tools Development. Develop robust monitoring capabilities and configure integrations with industry-leading tools such as Splunk. Ensure that monitoring solutions provide actionable insights and facilitate proactive issue resolution.
- Collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand operational requirements and challenges. Provide expertise and support to enhance overall system performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Experience. 10 to 16 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing monitoring solutions for complex data infrastructures.
- Technical Skills. Proficiency in developing monitoring capabilities and configuring integration with tools such as Splunk. Strong background in AIOps and automation technologies.
- Problem-Solving. Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues through effective use of monitoring tools and automation processes.
- Collaboration. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across various teams to achieve operational excellence.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced knowledge of AIOps platforms and their application in improving production operations.
- Experience with a variety of monitoring tools and platforms, including but not limited to Splunk.
- Proven track record of successful automation implementations and process improvements.
