Responsibilities:
- Lead application architecture development in analysis, modeling, construction, implementation and support of software that meets the business requirements
- Perform software construction, unit testing and debugging--software construction may include the preparation of new software, reuse of existing code, modification of existing programs, or integration of purchased services
- Work with business analysts, other team members and clients to review the business requirements and prepare technical design documents--may include the documenting of extended use cases, class diagrams, collaboration diagrams, sequence diagrams and non-functional and functional prototypes as needed
- Coordinate and supervise software construction done by lower level developers
- Lead code reviews
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of implementation documentation
- Work with business analysts, QA, and Information Technology (IT) staff as appropriate to analyze and resolve defects identified through the QA process
- Work with systems administration and operations personnel to support the implementation of applications into production
- Work with business analysts, help desk personnel and other IT professionals to identify and resolve issues in the production environment
- Receive general supervision from project leader, and work independently through various phases of the life cycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college/university
- Five years of experience with Microsoft Web technologies in a similar role
- Strong analytic skills
- Strong hands on knowledge of OOAD
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Web technologies (XML, MS.Net, ASP.Net, C#)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Solid database knowledge
