Job Description

Join the Compliance Technology Operations team within Visa’s Global Ethics & Compliance Organization as a Senior Product Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the bridge between various teams at Visa, aligning technology, product, and business objectives. Your primary focus will be on enhancing our current platform, fostering new integrations, and ensuring adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Sanctions regulations while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Strategy. Collaborate with product leadership to shape the future of Global AML & Sanctions Compliance technology platforms, aligning development strategies with business goals.
  2. Requirement Definition. Craft clear, detailed user stories and product requirements, ensuring seamless integration of new features and enhancements across business units.
  3. Stakeholder Management. Act as the primary liaison between business units, technical teams, and other relevant stakeholders to prioritize features and ensure alignment with business needs.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration. Work closely with engineering, operations, compliance, and other teams to drive product development and deployment.
  5. Technical Expertise. Utilize strong technical acumen to analyze data, identify solutions, and collaborate on technical implementation details with architects and development teams.
  6. Regulatory Compliance. Leverage deep understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements to ensure that product features meet industry standards and regulatory obligations.
  7. Risk Management. Assess and mitigate risks associated with product development, ensuring robust, reliable, and scalable Compliance tools.
  8. Communication and Leadership. Effectively communicate product vision, requirements, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels, guiding strategic decisions and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience, or Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) with 2+ years of experience, or PhD with no work experience.
  • Strong technical background with a knack for translating capabilities into actionable product strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences including executives and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4+ years of experience with an Advanced Degree, or up to 3 years of experience with a PhD.
  • Experience with compliance systems and strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with payment processing and Visa Net/payment ecosystem is a plus.
  • Prior product management experience in a large-scale production environment.
  • Proven track record of leadership and collaboration across diverse teams and time zones.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, matrixed organization.
