The AB WW Service Experience Tech team's charter is to deliver an integrated post-purchase experience, covering order management, self-service help, and assisted service through AB Customer Service (AB CRM). They aim to empower customers with intuitive self-serve experiences while facilitating interactions with customer support if needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of key AB systems and strategies used globally.
- Drive strategic planning and project execution, recruiting and developing top engineering talent.
- Mentor a team of Software Development Engineers (SDEs) in building and solving complex software problems.
- Participate in strategic initiatives, influencing teams in overlapping business and technology areas.
- Design and architect solutions for business problems or strategies that may not be fully defined.
- Make trade-offs between short-term and long-term needs, simplifying, optimizing, or extending solutions for the best outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
