We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement scalable and reliable IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of Office365, Windows, and Linux operating systems, as well as networking and database systems. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining servers, networks, and security systems, while also monitoring system performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable IT infrastructure solutions.
- Manage and maintain servers, networks, and security systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Conduct regular system upgrades and maintain documentation of all IT processes.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and efficient operations.
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or chat and resolve or escalate issues as necessary.
- Follow up with users to ensure their issues have been resolved and ensure user satisfaction.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend new solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and systems administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Linux, and network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure Cloud Platform.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems quickly and effectively.
- Continuously learn and stay up to date on new technologies, products, and services.
