Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with expertise in Talend, AWS, and preferably Snowflake to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL-based projects, with a focus on Talend and the ability to architect solutions on the AWS Cloud. As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in guiding, mentoring, and providing technical leadership in projects involving Talend and AWS integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and provided technical guidance to the team in Talend-based ETL projects on AWS Cloud.
- Architect solutions leveraging Talend and AWS services to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and requirements.
- Utilize expertise in AWS services, including SC3 and, optionally, Snowflake and Spark.
- Apply strong analytical and logical skills to write SQL queries, stored procedures, and create data marts/views in Teradata/SQL.
- Demonstrate end-to-end knowledge of the ETL landscape, covering source systems, data warehousing, marts, and reporting.
- Ensure the effective implementation of ETL concepts with hands-on experience in Talend ETL tools (Basic and advanced).
- Work within a highly-matrixed organization and effectively communicate and present technical solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of work experience with a focus on Talend in ETL projects.
- Expertise in Talend & AWS integration, with a preference for additional experience in Snowflake and Spark.
- Strong analytical and logical skills in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and creating data marts/views.
- In-depth knowledge of ETL concepts and hands-on experience with Talend ETL tools (Basic and advanced).
- Experience working within a highly-matrixed organization and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
