Technical Analyst

Responsibilities Develops Scenarios based on FCC regulations and good engineering practice using computer-assisted methods. Revises previously developed Scenarios to meet new or changing objectives. Evaluates station coverage using various propagation models. Identifies potential transmitter sites using map, terrain, and tower databases. Presents Scenarios developed at bi-weekly investment committee meetings. Participates in weekly Transaction department meetings. Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the Technical Supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, computer engineering or engineering technology; physics or other pure science; mathematics; or logic. Preferably 3-5 years of experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of frequency allocations including spectrum utilization, efficiency, and re-use. Skill to use a personal computer in a network environment. Ability to understand FCC technical regulations and policies and apply to scenario development. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts verbally and in writing.
