As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects that address global challenges and create opportunities for individuals worldwide. Leveraging your technical expertise, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, and drive clear communication across cross-functional teams. From explaining analyses to executives to discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers, you'll play a vital role in delivering impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Utilize cloud technologies, platform products, or device labs to drive innovation and enhance customer experiences.
- Lead projects and foster collaboration across teams to achieve strategic objectives and goals.
- Manage multi-workstream programs, including resource allocation, financial management, and third-party vendor relationships.
- Maintain focus and productivity in dynamic environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Manage diverse work streams, including device management, strategic planning, lab operations, and building strategic partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in technical program management, operations program management, or engineering management, with a focus on software engineering projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience working with global distributed teams and managing software development projects.
- Experience in a startup environment, with a demonstrated ability to embrace new platforms and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of navigating complex challenges and driving innovative solutions.
