As a Test Automation Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing automation strategies for large-scale enterprises. You will leverage various automation tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, TOSCA, and UFT to create robust test frameworks and improve automation practices.
Salary Range. AUD $139,384 - AUD $142,520 Annual Gross
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise-level automation strategies and frameworks to align with clients' needs.
- Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Review existing automation models, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee API/Microservices testing and automation efforts.
- Drive Agile and DevOps methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and collaboration.
- Develop and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) practices with tools like Cucumber and Playwright.
- Plan and execute test scripts regularly, troubleshooting and addressing issues as they arise.
- Mentor and guide team members on automation best practices and tool usage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8-12 years of experience in Information Technology with a strong focus on QA automation.
- Proven experience in API and UI automation with tools like Selenium, UFT, and Rest Assured.
- Scripting experience in Java, Python, PL/SQL, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration systems like Jenkins and Bamboo.
- Strong understanding of test frameworks such as TestNG and JUnit.
- Experience with collaboration tools like JIRA and ALM.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of latest trends in Quality Engineering, such as RPA and AI/ML in QA.
- Experience with Playwright and mobile automation solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and client interfacing skills.
- Ability to lead distributed teams effectively, managing onshore and offshore collaboration.
