As a Technical Test Lead at Infosys, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions through effective testing strategies and automation frameworks. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and partner teams to develop comprehensive test plans and execute testing activities across the development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include.
- Crafting test strategies and plans based on project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Leading test execution and defect management processes to identify and address issues efficiently.
- Implementing and maintaining automation frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Rest Assured.
- Mentoring and guiding team members to enhance their testing skills and capabilities.
- Contributing to the creation of solutions and proposals for QA initiatives, leveraging your expertise in testing methodologies and technologies.
- Salary Range. AUD 101,232 - 108,744 (Annual Gross).
Academics and Work Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty can be considered in lieu of each year of education.
- 6-10 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Tertiary Qualification in IT/Computer Science/related discipline.
Must-have Skills
- Strong experience in UI and API automation using Selenium (Java), Rest Assured, and Postman.
- Proficiency in BDD/TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber, Serenity, and Playwright-BDD.
- Scripting/development experience with languages such as Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.
- Familiarity with code coverage tools, build automation tools, CI/CD tools, and project management tools.
- Ability to lead a team of automation testers effectively and efficiently in both onshore and offshore models.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in stakeholder management.
Nice-to-have Skills
- Exposure to the latest trends in the Quality Engineering space, such as RPA, Analytics-driven testing, and the use of AI/ML in QA.
- Knowledge of GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and their adoption within enterprises.
- Experience with mobile automation solutions like UFT Mobile and others.
