As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with the CFT Product UI/UX Lead Designer to deliver intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces. Your role will involve understanding user needs, creating design solutions, and ensuring a seamless user experience across multiple products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct meetings with users, clients, product leads, and technology teams to gather and understand requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, product managers, and development teams to brainstorm and co-create design ideas and solutions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Sketch, Zeplin, Figma, AdobeXD, etc.
- Maintain design consistency and ensure a unified experience across all products.
- Optimize existing UI designs for improved usability and visual appeal.
- Conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate as necessary.
- Embrace feedback positively and use it constructively to improve designs.
- Provide ongoing support to development teams, conducting regular UX review checkpoints to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest UX practices, innovations, and tools.
- Ensure all designs comply with ADA/WCAG accessibility standards.
- Deliver projects on time, identify and manage risks, and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in UI/UX design.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in agile methodology and experience delivering within agile teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in professional design tools such as Sketch, Zeplin, Figma, AdobeXD, Axure, InVision, etc.
- Experience using design systems to maintain consistency across projects.
- User-centric mindset with a passion for delivering intuitive user experiences.
- Knowledge or interest in banking or finance domains.
- HTML/CSS development skills (desired).
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in UI/UX design or a related field.
