We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our People Design organization for a large retail client. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting digital software products that deliver outstanding user experiences for over 2 million employees. As part of this dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to design and refine digital interfaces that impact the daily lives of our internal associates, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Excellence. Create compelling wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and site maps that drive user-centered design solutions.
- Consumer-Grade UX. Apply your expertise in delivering consumer-grade UX experiences to internal software products, ensuring high usability and satisfaction.
- Interaction Design. Develop and refine interaction design patterns to enhance user engagement and effectiveness.
- Consistency Across Platforms. Maintain feature parity and design consistency across web and mobile platforms, ensuring a unified user experience.
- Design Systems. Build, maintain, or overhaul design systems to support scalable and consistent design practices across products.
- Collaboration. Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design solutions with business objectives and technical constraints.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience. 5+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer working on digital software products.
- Design Skills. Proven ability to create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and site maps with a strong understanding of UX principles.
- Consumer Experience. Demonstrated experience delivering consumer-grade UX solutions.
- Interaction Design. Expertise in interaction design and user experience strategies.
- Platform Consistency. Experience ensuring feature parity and design consistency across web and mobile platforms.
- Design Systems. Experience building or overhauling design systems.
- Tools. Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
