Job Description · At least 5 years of web development (with at least the last two being with ASP.NET) · VB.Net Win Form experience particularly in writing offline client applications that synch with a shared data store. · ASP.Net 2.0 expertise (including the design and creation of shared web components in Asp.Net) · Solid HTML / Java Script / DHMTL experience targeting all modern browsers (IE, Safari, Firefox etc.) · Extensive experience coding in a multi-tiered architecture with some of it being for an SOA (developing .net web services). · Experience designing web services in .Net that interoperate with Java and other languages · Object Oriented development expertise · Extensive experience and knowledge of developing from a UML design · Solid testing / documentation skills · XML knowledge · A sound understanding of accounting concepts · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Ability to work in a team oriented environment Candidate should possess the following: · Experience working in a structured project team (working off a project plan) · Unit testing experience · Oracle 9i / PL/SQL (stored procs, sql, etc…) experience · SQL Navigator experience · Sharepoint (or comparable document mgmt) API / Administration experience The following is also desirable: · Experience working with distributed, remote applications and distributed clients · Experience delivering a document scanning solution · Experience creating a high performance, web based data entry system · SQLite experience · Enterprise Architect / Rational Rose experience Candidates should be self-motivated, eager to learn, passionate about technology and take pride in their high quality deliverables.
