October 18, 2025 - Meta has introduced a new AI-driven Facebook feature that automatically surfaces users’ photos and videos, suggesting creative edits and collages to make sharing easier and more engaging.
The feature, now available to users in the U.S. and Canada, aims to simplify content creation by helping people rediscover meaningful moments hidden in their camera rolls. With the user’s permission, Facebook’s AI identifies standout shots and creates polished, ready-to-share posts for Facebook and Messenger.
Effortless, Private, and Customizable
Facebook says the tool is fully opt-in and that all suggestions remain private until users choose to share them. The AI can create enhanced photos, stylized edits, and themed collages automatically—no design skills required.

We know people capture lots of meaningful moments but often don’t share them because they feel they’re not ‘post-worthy’ or simply don’t have time,” Meta said in a statement. “This new feature helps bring those moments to life effortlessly.”
Meta also emphasized that camera roll content isn’t used to train its AI models unless users explicitly choose to edit or share media through Meta’s AI tools. Users can manage or disable the feature anytime in their Facebook camera roll settings.

Availability and Expansion
Currently, sharing suggestions appears in Stories and Feed, while additional personalized content can be found in Memories. Meta plans to expand testing to more countries in the coming months.
