Perplexity has announced the launch of its new Email Assistant, available exclusively to Perplexity Max subscribers. Designed as a powerful personal assistant for your inbox, Email Assistant transforms email from a static message center into a productivity hub.

Smarter Email Management

The Email Assistant integrates directly with Gmail and Outlook, allowing users to:

• Draft replies in your own communication style.

• Organize and label messages with smart categorization.

• Schedule meetings by cc’ing your assistant in an email.

• Summarize and prioritize important messages.

• Answer questions about your inbox, e.g., “What emails should I prioritize before my board meeting?”

With auto-draft responses and tone adaptation, the assistant helps users overcome the biggest email bottleneck: getting started.

Security and Privacy

Perplexity emphasizes security as a core feature:

• SOC 2 and GDPR compliant by default.

• No training on user data — all interactions remain private.
