files, apps, and settings on Windows 8.
Find Files
To find files, hit WIN+F and type a file name you are
looking for.
Find Apps
To find apps, hit WIN+Q. Apps will search all the
applications installed on Windows 8. Let's not confuse apps with Windows Store
apps.
Find Settings
To find settings, hit WIN+W and start typing the settings
you are looking for.
