Deploy a Website Using AWS Amplify Console

AWS Amplify is a development platform by AWS that helps developers build and host web and mobile applications quickly and easily. It's especially designed to simplify both the frontend and backend development process, with powerful tools for hosting, APIs, authentication, storage, and more.

Key Components of AWS Amplify

  1. Amplify Hosting: A fully managed CI/CD and hosting service for fast static and server-rendered apps. Offers custom domain setup, SSL, and global CDN.
  2. Amplify CLI: A command-line tool to configure and manage backend services.
  3. Amplify Libraries: Frontend libraries that allow you to connect to Amplify backend services from web or mobile apps.
  4. Amplify Studio: A low-code visual development environment to build and manage the frontend UI and backend data.

Step 1. Log in to the AWS Account and search for AWS Amplify.

Step 2. Click the Deploy an app button to deploy the application.

Step 3. If you plan to use automatic deployment, you can choose a Git provider. For manual deployment, select 'Deploy without Git'. In this scenario, I have chosen Deploy without Git.

Step 4. Enter the application's name and choose drag-and-drop. This option will allow ZIP files. Drag and drop the ZIP file, then click Save and Deploy.

Step 5. Once the deployment is complete, click 'View deployment URL' to browse the page.
