Scenario
You want to change multiple properties of SharePoint list items or metadata of multiple documents in SharePoint library at once.
Solution
In Modern experience of SharePoint Online, If you want to change multiple properties of list items or metadata of multiple documents in the library at once then you can use details pane to bulk edit item properties.
Steps
1. Open your SharePoint list or library in Modern experience.
2. Select two or more list items or documents in list or library.
3. Select
Details pane (
![]()
) from Command bar (
Next to Filter Pane).
4. You will see new section on page as given in below image.
5. You can change one or more properties in the Bulk edit properties section.
6. Click Save to apply the changes.
